Kremer pigments and polyurethane on handmade aluminum and recycled plastic panel
Originally conceived for a “White” show at Galerie Renate Bender in Munich, “Mica and Kremer White” is difficult to define and impossible to see completely at one time; the mica and other minerals and pigments were chosen for the way they change in varying lights. At times cold and brooding like Burgundy in Winter, other times airy and spacious, the painting is constantly shifting in color and depth. Ideally seen in changing daylight as shown in the photo at DM Arena for ArtKarlsruhe
